Apollo Bay Harbour Upgrade to Boat Ramp Floating Pontoons The Port of Apollo Bay will soon offer a better recreational boating experience with works soon to commence on an $800,000 upgrade of boating facilities at Apollo Bay. Announcement : PROGRESS UPDATE 24 February 2023 - Gangway installation was completed this week. The boat ramp is open and fully functional.
Barongarook Creek Reserve Bridge works underway There will be disruption of the Barongarook Creek Shared Path where it ends at the Murray Street carpark as the path will be restricted while works are undertaken. Colac Aerodrome Runway Lighting Upgrade Colac Aerodrome runways will be closed from Monday 15 July to Friday 16 August 2024 while the lighting system is upgraded.
Colac Civic Health and Rail Precinct The plan is a coordinated plan for the area, necessary to ensure that the precinct continues to meet the needs of the community and its key occupants including CAH, Colac Railway, COPACC and Colac Otway Shire Council.
Elliminyt Wetlands Project - Communications and Engagement Colac Otway Shire Council has identified the Elliminyt Wetlands Project as a key infrastructure investment needed to facilitate residential land provision in the Elliminyt area. Council has received grant monies of $3M from the Victorian State Government and $1.2M from the Federal Government fund to upgrade the existing storm water retarding basin.
