Apollo Bay Harbour Upgrade to Boat Ramp Floating Pontoons The Port of Apollo Bay will soon offer a better recreational boating experience with works soon to commence on an $800,000 upgrade of boating facilities at Apollo Bay. Announcement : PROGRESS UPDATE 24 February 2023 - Gangway installation was completed this week. The boat ramp is open and fully functional.
Barongarook Creek Reserve Bridge works underway There will be disruption of the Barongarook Creek Shared Path where it ends at the Murray Street carpark as the path will be restricted while works are undertaken. Colac Civic Health and Rail Precinct The plan is a coordinated plan for the area, necessary to ensure that the precinct continues to meet the needs of the community and its key occupants including CAH, Colac Railway, COPACC and Colac Otway Shire Council.

Forrest Mountain Bike Revitalisation Project The Forrest Mountain Bike Revitalisation Project will enhance and expand the existing mountain bike trail offering in Forrest to maintain Forrest's position as one of Australia’s premier mountain biking destinations. Temporary Closure : 22/12/22 – On 23 December 2023 all trails are opening with temporary signage in place as part of a pre-Christmas soft launch. The exception is ‘Follow the Dog’ and ‘Millars Mongrel’ which remain closed whilst final works are completed. A full launch of the revitalised southern network is planned for early in 2023.
