Childcare Survey - Colac Otway Shire
The Colac Otway Shire Council is doing a shire-wide survey to better understand what our local level of demand is for childcare.
The data gathered, which is anonymous and non-identifiable, will help Council with future planning and advocacy to the government and private sector.

Colac Early Childhood Workforce Expo - Working in the Early Childhood Sector
Colac Otway Shire is working in partnership with the Department of Education to inform the public about the benefits of working in the Early Childhood sector and to discover what incentives, scholarships and training possibilities there are to become involved.

Parenting Forum - Happy and Thriving Families - Tuesday 12th September 2023 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Parenting author Lou Harvey-Zahra will be presenting in person at this years Parenting Forum at COPACC about understanding your child and transforming common behaviours to create happy and thriving children and a harmonious household.

Children's Week - Read, Talk, Play Everyday
Children’s Week is on again!!
Colac Otway Shire in partnership with Meli, Colac Area Health and Department of Education have organised fun activities for children and their families to enjoy.
The event is to celebrate children and highlight the importance of every child’s right to a standard of living that supports their well-being and healthy development.
Children of all ages can enjoy getting up close and personal with a reptile, play a game or two, participate in a craft activity, listen to a story or have a dance with a cheeky pirate.
This free event will be held on Thursday 26th October between 10am and 2pm location yet to be determined

Do you have a child who will eligible to participate in a funded kinder program next year? Kindergartens & Long Day Care Centre’s who provide funded kinder programs are taking enrolments for 2024.
