Domestic Animal Management Plan 2025-2029

The Domestic Animal Management Plan 2025-2029 (DAMP) outlines how Council manage dogs and cats in the community. It focuses on responsible pet ownership, animal welfare, education, enforcement, and reducing nuisance issues. The Plan is updated every four years in line with the Domestic Animals Act 1994 and is shaped by community feedback, local data, and best‑practice animal management.

The Asset Plan 2025–2035 guides the sustainable management of Council assets over the long term. It prioritises investment and maintenance within funding constraints, while working closely with the community to ensure assets meet local needs now and into the future.
