There are two Chambers of Commerce in Colac Otway Shire; one serving Colac & Districts and one serving the Apollo Bay region. The Chambers of Commerce are run by business owners to support and promote their membership of local businesses and the regional economy.

The Apollo Bay Chamber of Commerce (ABCofC) has been a steadfast champion of this community since its early days as the Apollo Bay Progress & Tourism Association in the 1970s, becoming incorporated in 2000.
The ABCofC's purpose is to foster a professional and collaborative business sector and to promote the socio-economic well-being of Apollo Bay and district — advocating to government and associated organisations on issues that shape the character, economy, and liveability of our town.
At the heart of everything the Chamber does are its core values: liveability, inclusiveness, sustainability, authenticity, fairness, friendliness, and respect. The Chamber supports all members equally, regardless of size, resources, or status — because a strong community is one where every business has a voice.

Colac & District Chamber of Commerce
Colac & District Chamber of Commerce
First established over 20 years ago as Otway Business Inc, the Colac & District Chamber of Commerce represents and supports businesses in Colac and surrounds, from sole traders and family businesses to large manufacturers. The Chamber hosts regular events to help business owners and their staff connect and learn, can provide one-on-one assistance to member businesses, and also advocates on behalf of the business community.
