In April, Colac Otway Shire Council’s Youth Engagement and Environment team held a Creative Conservation: Nesting Box Workshop for Colac Otway Youth aged 12-25.
Young artists painted and decorated nesting boxes made by the Colac Men’s Shed. The nesting boxes are now on display at COPACC Colac Otway Performing Arts and Cultural Centre in the gallery foyer. These beautifully decorated nesting boxes will be installed across the Colac Otway Shire offering shelter, protection to native species and helping to maintain, boost local biodiversity. Well done to all the talented youth artists who participated!
