Children's Week Celebrations

Next date: Thursday, 29 October 2026 | 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM

Join us for a fun-filled day as Meli, in partnership with Colac Otway Shire and Colac Area Health, celebrates Children's Week 2026 with a free community event for children and families.

Held at the Colac Showgrounds, this exciting event will feature a wide range of free activities and entertainment designed especially for preschool-aged children and their families.

Enjoy:

Families can also take advantage of free child car seat fittings and safety checks provided by Kidsafe.

Pack a picnic, bring your family and friends, and join us for a morning of fun, connection and celebration from 10.00am to 1.00pm.

This year's Children's Week theme is:

"Children have the right to speak their own language, celebrate their culture and practice their religion."

This event will celebrate children, culture, diversity and community, while providing opportunities for families to come together and connect.

Everyone is welcome!
