Filming Permits

Colac Otway Shire Council is a film friendly council. We aim to make filming in our Shire as welcoming and easy for you as possible.

Timeframes:

Applications that do not impact the flow of traffic or have significant pedestrian impacts should be submitted with five days’ notice.
Applications that require traffic management planning or significant pedestrian management should be submitted with 20 days’ notice.

Parking Requests:

Please submit your parking requests at least 20 days prior to filming.

There is a charge payable on delivery of the filming permit, please contact the Events Officer on 03 5232 9400 for more information. Additional fees and charges may apply.
