Congratulations on your grant from the Colac Otway Shire Council grants program. Your story is important and worthy of being shared. This information will support you to communicate the impact of your project and acknowledge Council’s support.

Our grant programs allow us to provide support for activities that benefit our communities, strengthen social connections and improve quality of life.

As part of your funding terms and conditions you agreed to acknowledge Council’s support in material published in connection with your grant.

These guidelines provide guidance and support for consistent project, program, event or activity communications and promotion. This includes (but not limited to) social media platforms, invitations, flyers, posters, letters, speeches, signs, emails (all printed matter), websites, television and videos.

Please acknowledge Council’s support with our name and logo in any websites, media releases, signage, flyers, brochures, reports or other promotional materials related to the grant.

Please always use our full name - Colac Otway Shire Council - when referencing the project and describe your funding as support from Council.

The following acknowledgement statement should be used in conjunction with our logo where possible.

Media Release – if you issue a media release announcing information regarding your project, program, activity or event for which the funding was awarded, always try to include pictures of the program along with the following acknowledgement: This project is proudly supported by the Colac Otway Shire Council.
