Melbourne’s own Rhiz & The Sugarplums announce the release of their second album, ‘All Over Again’. Drawing inspiration from the golden era of country and roots music, ‘All Over Again’ is a love letter to classic country, filtered through a contemporary Australian lens. Rooted in traditional styles yet unequivocally fresh and original, the album pairs timeless melodies with Rhiz's own unique voice and perspective. Beyond her work as a musician, Rhiz works part-time as a midwife in a public hospital, where she supports women through some of the most significant moments of their lives. Witnessing extraordinary resilience and compassion every day has deeply informed her writing, lending the songs on ‘All Over Again’ an empathy and emotional honesty that resonates throughout. Inspired by the songwriting and unmistakable voices of icons like Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline, Wanda Jackson, Skeeter Davis and The Everly Brothers, Rhiz set out to write songs that feel as though they could have stood proudly alongside the classics. The result is an album rich with vintage charm, authenticity and sharp, character-driven songwriting. At the heart of the album lies an even more personal story. Following the passing of her mother in 2025, Rhiz found herself creating music during the most difficult period of her life. Rather than making an album defined by grief, she chose to honour the qualities that made her mother so remarkable. ‘All Over Again’ was recorded with a top-shelf line-up of studio musicians by Tim Carter at Tree House Studios in Nashville, TN, USA. It was produced by Rhiannon McArthur and mastered by Dave Harris (Studio B Mastering – Charlotte, NC, USA).

Rhiz & The Sugarplums have built an impressive live reputation, performing at some of Australia's most celebrated folk and country festivals, including Woodford Folk Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Maldon Folk Festival, Newstead Live and CresFest. Following the release of ‘All Over Again’, the band will also embark on an extensive 21-date national tour, bringing their acclaimed live show to audiences across Australia. RHIZ & THE SUGARPLUMS are – Rhiannon McArthur - vocals/acoustic guitar. Pete Daffy - electric guitar/vocals. Jordy Hickey - double bass. Pete Fidler - pedal and lap steel guitar. Josh Hickey– drums.
