Australia’s most spectacular cycling event, Citroën Amy’s Great Road Gran Fondo returns on Sunday 15th September 2024!

Catering to cyclists of all abilities, Citroën Amy’s Great Ocean Road Gran Fondo is the only cycling event held on a fully closed Great Ocean Road. Over 4,000 registered riders will challenge themselves in one of the following rides: 

Sunday 15^th September 2024

130km - Amy’s Gran Fondo Age Category*

130km - Amy’s Gran Fondo Recreation Category

45km Medio Fondo

14km- Family Fondo

*The Age Category Event sees amateur riders race in the UCI World Gran Fondo Series with the top 25% in each age group being invited to the following year’s UCI Gran Fondo Series World Championship Event

Participants can ride Amy’s in 2024 and qualify to become a world champion at Amy’s in 2025, as Amy's Gran Fondo will host the 2025 UCI World Gran Fondo Championships.

4:00pm – 6:00pm – Friday 13th September (Rider Pack Collection)

10:00am – 4:00pm – Saturday 14th September (Rider Pack Collection)

7:00am – 4:00pm – Sunday 15th September

The event village won’t include any food vendors, as participants are encouraged to enjoy the local businesses on Mountjoy Parade and surrounding areas!

Citroën Amy’s Great Ocean Road Gran Fondo, is held in memory of Amy Gillett, and conducted by the Amy Gillett Foundation. Participants raise much-needed funds to help the Amy Gillett Foundation create a safe bike riding environment in Australia. 

To ensure the safety of all event participants and the community, temporary changes to traffic conditions must be implemented, as approved by Victoria Police and Regional Roads Victoria.

Lorne and surrounding coastal towns provides the ideal location for a weekend away with activities for the whole family to enjoy!
