Amy’s Great Ocean Road Gran Fondo is a premier cycling event held along the iconic Great Ocean Road, attracting thousands of riders to the Colac Otway region each year. The event showcases breathtaking coastal scenery through one of Australia’s most spectacular closed-road cycling experiences.

With multiple distances including the 122km Amy’s Gran Fondo Age Category Race* or Recreational Ride, 90km Out & Back Medio Fondo, 45km Medio Fondo and the free 3km Family Fondo, the event caters to a wide range of ages, abilities and cycling goals, from recreational riders to competitive cyclists.

*The top 25% in each age category will be invited to the 2027 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships..

Participants enjoy a fully supported ride experience, including aid stations, traffic management and a vibrant event village atmosphere in Lorne.

The event proudly honours the legacy of Amy Gillett and supports Amy's Foundation, helping raise awareness for road safety and safer outcomes for all road users.
