The celebration is all about trains, trails and our local community, and we would be delighted if you could be involved in the weekend. The Old Beechy Rail Trail commemorates the historic railway that once ran through the Otways, and the anniversary is an opportunity to share memories, local history and the importance of the trail with the wider community.
On Saturday there will be activities in Gellibrand, including opportunities to walk or cycle between Kawarren and Gellibrand, finishing at the Gellibrand Hall for a BYO picnic tea, music, dancing and supper. The fabulous Hip Replacements will provide the music.
The celebrations continue on Sunday at the Kawarren Market, with music, birthday cake and activities for children.
