Council is proud to recognise and celebrate our Ageing Well Employees today for Aged Care Employee Day – August 7.

As an approved provider of the Australian Government’s Support at Home Program, Council works with clients and families to develop personalised care plans that reflect individual needs, goals and circumstances.

Council’s Chief Executive Officer Andrew Tenni said Council’s Ageing Well services help residents continue to enjoy their lifestyle and community connections.

“Our staff offer valuable and practical support that enables people to continue living independently in the community.

“Whether it’s helping someone attend a medical appointment, supporting with daily tasks around the home or providing respite for carers, our services make a genuine difference to quality of life.”

Council’s Ageing Well team provide a vital contribution to the Colac Otway community, providing dedicated support to older people to remain independent, connected and living safely in their own homes.

“Council’s Ageing Well team bring professionalism, compassion and dedication to their day-to-day role in the community. They build trust with clients and families and their commitment makes Colac Otway a caring and supportive place to grow older.

“Council is very proud of the work our Ageing Well team does every day and we thank them for the positive difference they make in the lives of older residents across our community,” Mr Tenni said.
