CEO Announces Resignation

Anne Howard has today advised the Mayor and Councillors of her resignation as CEO of Colac Otway Shire Council.
Mayor Jason Schram thanked Anne for her contribution to Colac Otway since commencing in 2021.
Mayor Schram said “Anne has brought stability to Council’s leadership and helped to strengthen our financial and project management over the last four years. I thank her for support for newly elected Councillors during our induction and the contribution she has made to Council and our community.”
Ms Howard said “It has been my privilege to lead an organisation of people who are committed to their local community. I wish the Mayor, Councillors and staff all the best for their term. I look forward to seeing Colac Otway Shire have a successful future.”
Mr Andrew Tenni, Colac Otway Shire Council’s current General Manager Corporate Services, has been appointed to the role of Acting CEO for the next eight weeks.
Council will decide on an interim CEO until an appointment is made and recruitment for the new CEO of Colac Otway Shire Council will commence shortly.
Ms Howard has been appointed as the new CEO of Darebin City Council and will join Darebin in July.
