Council is seeking feedback from our community via an online survey regarding the completed Stage One Public Lighting works along Queen Street Shared Path between Aireys Street and Slater Street.

Stage One Public Lighting along Queen Street Shared was completed by Colac Otway Shire Council on 30 October 2020. Stage One involved installation of 11 solar light poles between Aireys Street and Slater Street, Colac.

We are seeking feedback from members of our community aged 13 years or over, who live or work in the area where the lighting was installed, regarding their perceptions of public safety along the Shared Path following completion of Stage One lighting works.

The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

The survey is entirely confidential and no personal information will be collected.

Please complete Colac Otway Shire Council’s online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/QueenStLighting

The survey is open from today, Friday 1 April and will close on Monday 25 April.

Stage One was funded by the Victorian Government as part of the Victorian Government’s Community Crime Prevention Strategy with a contribution from Colac Otway Shire Council.

Future Stage Two works would involve installation of light poles along Queen Street Shared Path between Slater Street and Tulloh Street. This Stage will be undertaken when funding is available.
