Draft Nature Strip Planting Policy and Guidelines

No longer on display. Expired on 05 July 2024, 05:00 PM

Nature strips play an important role in enhancing our towns and creating more sustainable and liveable environments.

Council's Draft Nature Strip Planting Policy and its associated Draft Nature Strip Planting Guidelines have been developed over a period of months and are now on public display for community feedback.

The Policy and Guidelines have been developed to guide and support residents in properties within city and township areas within Colac Otway Shire through clear, simplified processes to plant and maintain nature strips.

We encourage community members to view the draft policy and guidelines and provide feedback.

The policy and guidelines will be on exhibition for period of six weeks, allowing time for submissions to be reviewed and the final policy and guidelines to be adopted in coming months.
