Project partners Deliberately Engaging will put together a jury that best represents our community based on registrations. Over 50 people will be selected.

ABOUT
The Colac 2050 Citizen Jury aims to involve the wider community in the preparation of the Colac 2050 Growth Plan by making recommendations to Council. . 

The jury will be made up of a representative sample of Colac residents and ratepayers.

WHAT?
 The Colac 2050 Citizens' Jury has an important role.
Over three full days they will:

  • Evaluate ideas contributed by the community
  • Develop their own goals & plans
  • Agree on recommendations to be made to Council for the final Growth Plan.


WHEN?

The Citizens' Jury will meet at for three days:

  • Saturday 28 October 2017, 9am – 5pm
  • Sunday 12 November 2017, 9am – 5pm
  • Saturday 25 November 2017, 9am - 5pm

Meetings will be held at Central Reserve, Gravesend Street Colac. Jury members will be paid $50 a day, with meals supplied


WHO?

Council is seeking expressions of interest from shire residents or ratepayers over 18 years of age. Jury members must be available to attend all three jury days, plus a two hour information session prior to commencement.
