The Purple Patch Pop-Up

We’re excited to invite you to celebrate Wear It Purple Day with us through a special week-long pop-up nook designed by the headspace Trailblazers Youth Reference Group. 

This inclusive and interactive pop-up will be hosted at the Colac Community Library, featuring resources, a creative art space, books, and more all curated to spark curiosity, connection, and celebration.

(Wear it Purple Day is an annual LGBTQIA+ awareness day especially for young people, based in Australia. Supporters wear purple to celebrate diversity and young people from the LGBTQIA+ community.) 

The official date of WIP is August 29, although, we wanted to get the party started all week! ��

To officially open the week-long pop-up, we’re hosting a keynote speaker from QHUB sharing practical strategies for building inclusive communities that support and empower queer young people. (COPACC will also be lighting up the venue Purple all week!)

Following the keynote, guests will be invited to explore the pop-up nook, which will remain open until Wear It Purple Day, Friday 29th August.
