Take a seat! Camp chairs allowed at AFL 2020 Marsh Community Series Match

Colac Otway Shire Council is encouraging community members to bring along their own collapsible camp chair to the AFL 2020 Marsh Community Series Match between Geelong and Essendon.

“The match on the Labour Day public holiday is going to be a great day for the community, we’re encouraging everyone to come along, bring a camp chair and settle in for the day,” Council’s General Manager for Development and Community Services Ian Seuren said.

“Gates will open at 1pm for the VFL match at 1.20pm between Geelong and Essendon, so people can come in early to get a spot, buy some lunch and support the local clubs who are catering on the day, ready for the main game kick-off at 4.40pm.

“Council is really pleased to have the Simpson, Otway Districts and South Colac teams and Colac Tigers on board for patrons to buy food and drinks at the game; not only do you get the opportunity to see AFL teams play in our local district, but you can support local clubs too.

“There’ll also be an activity space for kids at the hockey ground – we’re hoping there’ll be something to keep every member of the family happy on the day,” Mr Seuren said.

Tickets are on-sale now to the AFL 2020 Marsh Community Series match, for more game-day information visit www.colacotway.vic.gov.au
