Colac Otway Shire Council, through Colliers International, has listed its land at 36-52 Bruce Street in Colac for sale. It is zoned for general residential development with a land area of approximately 4.2 hectares and 275 metres of dual street frontage.

“This land is just 75 km (1 hour’s drive) from Geelong CBD and in close proximity to Lake Colac, the Botanical Gardens and Colac Primary School,” said Anne Howard, Chief Executive Officer. “It’s ideally suited to a well-designed residential development which embraces its prominent location.”

The sale will continue Council’s aims of opening the land up for much needed residential development, while also facilitating social housing outcomes and financial benefit to ratepayers.

“It’s exciting to be at this stage and to welcome expressions of interest from land developers,” said Ms Howard. “This is a rare opportunity in a fantastic location and in a region that provides affordable lifestyle options close to major employment centres and educational facilities.”
