Colac Otway Shire Council is producing a Master Plan for Colac Botanic Gardens. Council has conducted community consultation to hear your views on the Gardens and how they connect with the surrounding areas, and the Lake Foreshore.
The review of the Master Plan is a chance to take a big picture look at the Botanic Gardens – what’s working, what’s not working and what do we want them to look like in ten years’ time.
Colac Otway Shire Council has appointed a consultant to undertake this work, and to assist we’re inviting all residents, visitors and people with an interest in the Gardens to provide their ideas.
A survey was conducted and results will be used to guide the development of the Master Plan so that the long-term plan for the Gardens builds on their heritage, maintaining their important well-loved features, while sensitively proposing new works to enhance these much-loved Gardens.
The survey has now closed, thanks to everyone who took the time to provide their feedback.
