Colac KANA Festival 2022

Kana Train
The theme for the 62nd annual Colac Kana Festival is “Heroes and Villains”.
Our world is full of amazing people who do incredible things. It’s time to celebrate those people and groups who’ve helped shape who we are, where we’ve come from and how we got here. Heroes come in many forms - and not all heroes wear capes!
We encourage all participants in the Kana festival to put on your thinking caps and find some imaginative, natural, resourceful and fun ways to showcase yourself and our theme.
Colac & District has many local legends who’ve pioneered, explored, created, performed and played. We have a history dotted with various heroes (and the occasional villain) and are enriched with so many diverse cultures and backgrounds. So tell us your stories, decorate your entries and help us celebrate!

For the first time, presentation of the Colac Otway Community Awards will be a part of the Colac Kana Festival in Colac.

Join in the festival fun of the day, and come and celebrate Colac Otway’s Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and Community Service of the Year. Awards will be presented on the Kana Festival Stage at 11am.

The Colac Kana Festival Inc.’s motto is “Come Celebrate with Us” and we hope that you choose to do this at Kana 2022.
See you in the Memorial Square on Saturday 19th of March, 2022.
