CON 2001 - Hart Street Elliminyt Drainage Works (Aireys St to Irrewillipe Rd)
Council invites submissions from suitable tenderers to complete drainage works in Hart Street Elliminyt, between Aireys Street and Irrewillipe Road.
The works include but are not limited to:

  • Site management, including traffic control;
  • Set out, service detections, proving & protection
  • Excavation and drainage installation
  • Site reinstatement including road reinstatement

Con 1931 - Three (3) year Bituminous Sealing Program
Tenders are invited from experienced contractors to undertake bituminous spray sealing works over three sealing seasons 2019-2020, 2020-2021, & 2021-2022, (with areas to be treated each year varying upwards from approx. 240,000 sq. m. to approx. 300,000 sq. m.) on roads in Colac Otway Shire.  Although arranged in Separable Portions (for each sealing season), Council’s intention is to award one contract covering the three sealing seasons.

Con 1948 - Provision of Tree Services
Colac Otway Shire invites tenders for tree maintenance work on public land within the boundaries of the Colac Otway Shire. Tree maintenance work includes, tree pruning, tree removals and stump grinding.

Colac Otway Shire Council invited submissions from suitably qualified companies and tradespeople to provide services to Council for a period of 3 years with an option 2-year extension period for tenders 1938-1950.

Con 1938 - Provision of General Maintenance Services
The scope of the General Maintenance services may include but is not limited to:

  • repair vandalism to Council buildings - replace broken doors, window sashes, etc.
  • specialised carpentry and joinery works - installation of cupboards, drawers, doors, etc.;
  • maintenance works - repairs to door jams, plaster walls, internal partitions, remove graffiti etc.
  • repair damage to fixtures, structures and building frameworks.
  • All other duties as agreed by the parties.

Con 1939 - Provision of Electrical Services
The scope of the Electrical Services may include but is not limited to:

  • repair to power outlets, fuse boxes, and lighting systems within Council buildings; 
  • repair/replace vandalised public lighting systems;
  • general maintenance to Council owned electrical fixtures and equipment;
  • the ability to operate and hire scissor lifts (or similar) and ability to work at heights when required; and
  • Test and Tagging of electrical appliances and equipment.

Con 1940 - Provision of Plumbing Services
The scope of the Plumbing Services may include but is not limited to:

  • repair vandalism to public toilets, replace cisterns, restore water supply, etc;
  • repair leaks/breakages to water supply systems within Council reserves and parks including automatic sprinklers and pump maintenance;
  • servicing standpipe backflow, HWS regulators, waterless urinal and drinking water filters.
  • specialised drainage works - upgrade/clean out blockages of septic systems, etc;
  • roofing, guttering works to Council buildings – periodic replacement of deteriorated gutters/roofs; and
  • Installation of gas and/or electric appliances in Council buildings.

Con 1941 - Provision of Painting Services
The scope of the Painting Services may include but is not limited to:

  • internal and external painting of Council buildings, including preparation and wash down of surfaces where required;
  • painting in coordination with other building maintenance works;
  • painting of Council owned external fixtures (e.g. street furniture, light poles, etc);
  • patching, repair and sanding of walls and internal and external surfaces as required and directed by the Authorised Council Officer; and
  • provision of two coats of paint where required, approved by the Authorised Council Officer.

Con 1942 - Provision of Carpentry Services
The scope of the Carpentry Services may include but is not limited to:

  • installation of structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cupboards etc;
  • construct building frameworks including walls, floors and doorframes etc;
  • repair damage to fixtures, structures and building frameworks.

Con 1943 - Provision of Mechanical Services (HVAC)
The scope of the Mechanical Services may include but is not limited to:

  • repairs and maintenance of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems;
  • installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems;
  • repair vandalism to pumps, motors;
  • general maintenance and servicing of pumps, motors and vehicles.

Con 1944 - Provision of Locksmith Services
The scope of the Locksmith Services may include but is not limited to:

  • replacement of locks on internal and external council buildings;
  • providing emergency access to council buildings;
  • key cutting for commercial locksets and automotive application.

Con 1949 - Provision of pest Treatment Services
The scope of the Pest Treatment Services may include but is not limited to:

  • Routine and reactive inspections and detailed reports;
  • Treatment of pests or vermin.

Con 1950 - Provision of Liquid Waste Removal
The scope of the Waste Removal may include but is not limited to:

  • Planned and reactive requests;
  • Removal of waste from septic tanks.
