TAC L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program
The TAC L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program assists learners between 16 and 21 years of age, who do not have access to a supervising driver or vehicle, to gain the driving experience required to apply for a probationary licence.
About the Program
The TAC L2P program is free for eligible young people aged 16-21 years.
The young learners are matched with fully licensed volunteer mentors and have access to a sponsored vehicle, which they can use to get supervised driving experience.
The TAC has committed to funding the L2P program until 30 June, 2023.
The Colac Community Hub delivers the program in the Colac Otway Shire.
