A free events listing is also provided to the community via Visitor Information Centres. The calendar is a one stop resource for the local community and is a particularly good reference for event planners who want to ensure their event doesn’t clash with another event. | One Stop Shop For Event Planners | | A comprehensive and concise Event Planning Manual has been developed as part of the Department of Sustainability and Environment “A New Future For The Otway’s Tourism Initiative.”
The tourism initiative has committed funding over three years to make the most of the region’s tourism potential and in developing new job opportunities in the Otway Hinterland.
The manual aims to assist communities in developing sustainable ongoing events for the region based on thorough planning and management.
It’s a fantastic resource for any individual or group planning an event as it provides a step by step guide to all aspects of event management.
