| Colac Otway Shire Council, in conjunction with the Surf Coast Shire, VicRoads and Victoria Police, are seeking public input into event closure guidelines for the Great Ocean Road.
The guidelines were last reviewed in 2008 and the current review is sought in light of the increased interest in events along the Great Ocean Road.
Current guidelines allow for two annual events between May and November with the exception of the Great Victorian Bike Ride with occurs every three to four years in early December.
Public meetings have been arranged for various times and at various locations throughout the Colac Otway and Surf Coast Shires and it is hoped that members of the community will attend to have their input regarding the development of the new guidelines.
Meeting Times are as follows:
Colac Otway Shire Forrest Thursday 13th September 6.00pm – 9.00pm 5232 9400 Apollo Bay Wednesday 19th September 6.30pm – 9.30pm 5232 9400 Wye River Thursday 20th September 6.30pm – 9.30pm 5232 9400
