| Hearing loop at Rae St. Customer Service | | Colac Otway Shire has a counter hearing loop situated at the Customer Service Desk at the Rae St. office in Colac.
If you wear hearing aids fitted with a ‘T’ switch; move your hearing aid setting to the ‘T’ switch, the customer service staff member’s voice will then be transmitted directly into your hearing aids and you will be able to hear them clearer.

| Portable Assistive Listening Device | | Colac Otway Shire has a portable, wireless, phonic ear system available for hire for use at meetings, education and training, conferences or events.
The system includes a microphone, transmitter and three receivers. It works by amplifying and delivering sounds directly to the listeners ears either through headphones or through hearing aids if they are fitted with a ‘T’ switch.
