| Personal information collected by Council is used for municipal purposes as specified in various Acts of Parliament. This information will only be used by Council for these purposes.
Council may however disclose this information to other Councils or statutory authorities.
You may apply to Council for access to and/or amendment of your personal information held by Council.
Seeking Information About Another Person
If you need to obtain personal details about another person, Council may be required to obtain the subject person's consent for their details to be supplied to you. In this case, you should obtain a copy of the "Application For Provision of Personal Details" form by:
(a) Contacting the Shire's Customer Service Department in Colac (03)5232 9400 or Apollo Bay (03)5327 6504 OR
(b) Downloading a copy of the form.
