| The Barwon South West Regional Trails Master Plan is a regional project involving the local government areas of Borough of Queenscliffe, Surfcoast, Corangamite, Moyne, Southern Grampians,Glenelg Shires and the Cities of Greater Geelong and Warrnambool together with the state Government departments of Parks Victoria, Department of Sustainability and Environment, VicRoads, Transport Public Division, Sport and Recreation Victoria and Regional Development Victoria.
The aim of the Barwon South West Trails Master Plan was to establish a detailed plan for the development of existing and proposed regional trails thoughout the Barwon South West Region. A strategic review of the numerous trails with regional potential was undertaken and a selected list of thirteen trails and four regional mountain bike hubs were identified to be treated as the regional trails network. |  |
