Health Colac Otway has a well-established network of health services including two hospitals, community health centres, maternal and child health centres, aged care and primary care facilities. The Colac Area Health Services provides service to public and private patients for a catchment population of approximately 30,000. It is an integrated service providing acute care, aged care, primary care, home nursery and adult day activity services. There are also large medical clinics, which operate in the Colac area. In the southern part of the Shire Otway Health and Community Services operate the Apollo Bay Hospital and medical clinic. Other health care providers include dentists, physiotherapists, psychiatrists, and community care.
