Josh Earl vs Australian Women’s Weekly Birthday Cake Book  Printer Friendly
Josh Earl
Saturday, October 26, 8pm
In 1985 Lyn Earl bought a book that changed the lives of her three sons….forever! That book was the Australian Women’s Weekly Birthday Cake Book. From that day on birthdays were never the same again.

In 2008 Josh was performing a show in which he briefly referred to The Book. The reaction was like nothing he’d experienced before. People wanted to talk about The Book. They couldn’t concentrate on the next joke because they were thinking about the cakes in The Book. Josh promised that he would return to do a show all about The Book.

This is that show.

This is the perfect show for everyone who grew up wishing for a themed birthday cake and every Mum who has worried her version doesn’t look as good as the one in The Book.

Watch Josh sing the Train Song live here!

“HILARIOUS….An unforgettable experience and must-see viewing.” Beat magazine

“I loved {Josh Earl}, full of witty songs, sly pop culture references and just plain funny jokes” The Pun

“There is not even a pinch of cynicism in this hour, it really is just one massive love letter not just to cakes, but to the joy it was to a six-year-old having his birthday.” Australian Comedy Review
