| The Colac Otway Community Transport Service is funded by the Department of Human Services H.A.C.C Program and the Colac Otway Shire. The service provides accessible, responsive transport assistance to frail older people, seniors, people with a disability, carers and other people who may experience a level of transport disadvantage.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA People, who are eligible for the service live within the Colac Otway Shire, meet the Home and Community Care Assessment guidelines and the Colac Otway Community Transport client service access and eligibility criteria.
CONTRIBUTIONS Contributions vary depending on the distance travelled.
SERVICE TYPES Intercity Specialist & Medical Appointments -Geelong, Melbourne, Ballarat Warnambool This is an assisted transport service for clients that need one to one/door-to-door transport assistance to attend specialist and medical appointments..
Out And About Sunday Day Out The Out & About Sunday, provides an opportunity for seniors to have a day out. This day out involves the traditional Sunday drive with a two course lunch. Trips are to interesting places no more then 2 hours journey from Colac. They operate on the third Sunday of each month, and cost $25.00 per person, inclusive of lunch.
