If you require further clarification of the value of your property, please call the Rates and Property Department on (03)5232 9465 or (03)5232 9461.
Valuation objections must be lodged within two months of the date of the Valuation and Rates Notice. A valuation objection may ultimately be determined by the Victorian Civil Appeals Tribunal (VCAT) or Supreme Court.
Lodging an objection to a valuation does not negate the requirement of a ratepayer to pay rates by the due date. Failure to do so will result in interest being imposed.
