| Landcare is a community program involving groups of landowners working together to tackle land protection issues in their area.
Landcare groups implement and maintain their own Landcare projects. They have access to technical and financial assistance though the government and funding available through Natural Heritage Trust and the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority. They can offer financial and technical support to landowners that wish to revegetate their properties back to the original vegetation type or protect remnants vegetation.
