Council customer services to be moved under one roof

Colac Otway Shire Council will bring all of its face-to-face customer services under one roof from next week.
As of June 16, all customers wanting to make in-person enquiries, including enquiries for planning or building, should attend Council’s customer service centre located in Rae Street.
The Apollo Bay customer service centre operations will not be affected by this change.
Chief Executive Officer Sue Wilkinson said the move aimed to make Council’s customer services more convenient, efficient and cost effective to ratepayers.
“As of June 16 the dedicated planning counter will close so that all enquiries can come through our Rae Street customer service centre,” Ms Wilkinson said.
“This move is part of our ongoing commitment to improve our services to the community.”
