COPACC is thrilled to announce that up-and-coming Colac musician Connor Knight will open for Tiffany Eckhardt when she launches her new album Found on Thursday, November 29.

Connor, who attends Trinity College and is a regular Red Door performer, will play for half an hour before Tiffany, her partner Dave Steele and their band take the stage.

This will be Connor’s second solo performance on the COPACC stage this year, having wowed crowds in his guest spot in country music spectacular Taste of Tamworth in July.

It was Connor’s rendition of Landslide that sealed the deal for Tiffany, who has a strong philosophy of nurturing young music talent.

In keeping with Tiffany’s folk-roots theme, Connor will present his favourite selection of covers including songs like Billy Joel’s She’s Always a Woman, Tracy Chapman’s Fast Car and The Beatles’ Blackbird.

Connor will also play some original music that he has been working on.

“I’m very excited and honoured to be opening for Tiffany Eckhardt and I am looking forward to learning so much from such a talented musician,” Connor said.

Connor is a mainly self-taught guitarist who hopes to carve out a career in music.

He has performed in eight Red Door musicals and recently starred in Trinity College’s musical Footloose as Reverend Shaw Moore.

Connor has also been a regular on the local weekend performing circuit, playing and singing at the Forrest Soup Fest, Miss Francesca’s, the St Mary’s Garden Expo, Gosling Creek Winery, Cornucopia Birregurra and Sunday markets at Kawarren.

Connor’s performance starts at 7.30pm on Thursday, November 29. After his performance there will be a short intermission before Tiffany, her partner Dave and their band launch her new album Found.

Tickets to Tiffany Eckhardt - Found are $27, concession is $23 and groups of four or more people receive a 10 per cent discount. Tickets can be purchased from www.copacc.com.au
