Colac Otway Shire Council is on the look-out for passionate footy fans aged between eight and 14 to lead the charge on to the ground at Central Reserve as team mascot for Geelong and Essendon at the AFL JLT Community Series match on Sunday 11 March.

Council is running a competition to find the shire’s best mascot to don the footy colours for the Geelong Cats and also the Essendon Bombers and lead the teams onto the ground on match day.

Potential mascots are going to have to prove their might by sending a photo of their best footy face or team colours getup to Colac Otway Shire Council. Mascot winners will be chosen by Mayor Joe McCracken.

Each winner will be supplied with team colours to run out in front of players at Central Reserve plus 1 junior ticket and 1 adult ticket to the game on 11 March.

If you’re aged between eight and 14 and you’d like to help to make the crowd at Central Reserve roar, send your footy mascot photo to inq@colacotway.vic.gov.au by 4pm Monday 52018 for your chance to win.
