NOW OPEN - Round 2 of Category 1 Community Grants Program
Successful applicants for the Colac Otway Shire Grants Program 2018-19 have recently been announced.
Round 2 funding of $68,831 is available for Category 1 Community Grants Program only.
Applications require a matching contribution via cash or in-kind from the applicant on a dollar for dollar basis.
The program Guidelines provide details of the funding categories, eligibility, types of activities which may be funded, how to apply, assessment criteria and conditions.

What types of things are funded through Colac Otway Shire Grants?
Eligible items in Category 1 Community Grants Program may include, but are not limited to:
Equipment purchases including sporting & safety equipment and community programs above $2,000
Solar panels for community facility
Community projects and initiatives
Health & Well-being programs
Arts & Culture projects
Recreation or hall facility upgrades
Minor repairs and works
Minor capital improvements of community & recreation facilities up to $20,000
Strategic planning activities Eg: master plan, feasibility plan, action plan or business plan for Council managed Committees of Management of Council facilities.

Applications open on Monday 2 July 2018 and close on Friday 27 July 2018 at 5pm.
Funding announcements are expected to be made at the end of September.

NOTE: Applicants who have been successful in Round 1 cannot apply to Round 2 in 2018/19.
Minor amounts of funding are available in Categories 2, 3 and 4. Funding is offered until the available funds have been spent. You must contact the Grants Officer to discuss your proposal and obtain the Application Form for these categories.
